Terms of service, Nuroe

Welcome to Nuroe, a neuroscience service, designed to accelerate learning, IQ and academic performance for children. These Terms of Service ("Terms") apply to the Service ("Service" or "Nuroe") that we provide through our Nuroe parent application ("App" or "Nuroe App") and our website www.nuroe.com (the "Website"). We are Neural Assembly Int AB, company registration number 559190-7984, having our registered address at Kungsgatan 64, 111 22 Stockholm, Sweden (hereinafter “we”, “our”, “us” or the “Company”). By accessing our Website or downloading our Nuroe App, and continuing using it, you (“you”) acknowledge that: (1) you are at least 18 years of age or any older legal age required to form a contract in your jurisdiction; (2) you have the right, authority and legal capacity to enter into this agreement; (3) you have read, understood and agree to be bound by these terms with respect to yourself and any minor child(ren) authorized by you.

Acceptance of Terms

These Terms govern your and your children’s use of Nuroe. By using the Nuroe App, you acknowledge and accept its Privacy Policy and consent to the collection and use of your data in accordance with the Privacy Policy. In case you do not agree to these Terms, we ask you kindly to not use our Service.

Account Registration

To use our Nuroe App, parents or guardians must register using their email address. When adding a child(ren) account(s), you may use a pseudonym to protect the child's/children’s identity(-ies). You are also required to set the birth year for each child account to tailor the training content appropriately. We reserve the right to terminate your user account if it has been inactive for a period of twelve (12) months.

Privacy and Data Protection

We are committed to protecting the privacy of our users. Our collection, use, and disclosure of personal information are governed by our Privacy Policy, which is compliant with the GDPR and other relevant laws. We collect only the necessary information for account creation and service provision, including email addresses of parents or guardians, pseudonyms and birth years for child accounts and training data. You have the right to access, rectify, and erase your personal data, subject to certain exceptions provided by law.

Use of Services

You may use the Service only for its intended purposes and in accordance with these Terms. Provided that you do not violate these Terms, you are granted a non-exclusive license to use the Service for its intended purpose. You may not transfer the license to anyone else. We reserve the right to withdraw the license if you violate the Terms or otherwise at our sole discretion. You may not, in whole or in part, copy or alter Nuroe, decompile, modify or perform reverse engineering on Nuroe or its components. It is not allowed to recreate the source code or its functionality, or to make copies of or create any copy of the software beyond what the law allows. You may not use the Service to distribute viruses, trojans, and similar programs, or for automatic scraping of the Service.

Nuroe Subscription

This section only applies when you purchase and/or subscribe to Nuroe. By paying the subscription fee, or activating a trial subscription, you get access to the full evidence-based Nuroe training during the time your subscription is valid, subject to these Terms.

We currently offer Monthly subscription as the payment model for using the Nuroe App. Subscription fees can be found in the Nuroe App. We reserve the right to change the subscription fees from time to time.

Downloading and using the Nuroe App is free for 3 days (trial version). During this time you can try out and use all functions of the App. After 3 days the free trial version ends. Payments to us are made through the App Store and are made periodically in advance.

The contract between Nuroe and you has a limited duration. The subscription (i.e. monthly subscription) is automatically extended after expiry by the original period if they are not canceled 24 hours prior to expiry at the latest.

Terminations can be made via the settings on the App Store. To manage your subscriptions, go to the account settings on the App Store, and select the list of your active subscriptions. You can cancel your subscription there.

The right of both parties to extraordinary termination remains unaffected. In particular, we reserve the right to temporarily block use in the event of suspicion of misuse or other breaches of contract and to terminate the contract (as far as possible and reasonable after prior warning) in the event of justified suspicion.

Intellectual Property

All intellectual property rights in the app, its content, and the training materials are owned by us or our licensors. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the app and its content for personal purposes only.

Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. If we make significant changes, we will inform you based on what is appropriate regarding the circumstances, such as through announcement on our website or by email.

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Sweden, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
